• This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Ecosystem Growth based in Brazil. We are seeking a VP of Ecosystem Growth to lead market expansion and ecosystem development initiatives in Brazil. In this executive role, you will be responsible for driving adoption, building strategic partnerships, and positioning innovative financial technology solutions within a rapidly evolving market. You will serve as a senior local leader, collaborating with commercial, product, legal, compliance, policy, and operations teams to execute growth strategies. The role requires deep knowledge of fintech, payments, digital assets, and financial infrastructure, combined with strong leadership and business development capabilities. You will influence market strategy, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and accelerate business opportunities across the country. • Accountabilities: Serve as the senior accountable leader for market growth and ecosystem development initiatives in Brazil. Represent the organization externally with regulators, banks, enterprises, exchanges, fintech companies, and other strategic market stakeholders. Drive adoption and growth of digital financial solutions across exchanges, payments, banking, treasury, and institutional use cases. Build and convert a strong commercial pipeline across financial institutions, fintechs, payment providers, digital platforms, and enterprise customers. Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships that accelerate market penetration and long-term growth. Support regulatory and market-entry strategies in collaboration with legal, compliance, and policy teams. Lead cross-functional execution across commercial, business development, product, marketing, operations, and technical teams. Prioritize market opportunities, remove operational barriers, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives. Monitor performance indicators, analyze market insights, and continuously optimize growth strategies. Act as a trusted advisor and local representative, strengthening relationships across Brazil’s financial ecosystem. Requirements: 14+ years of relevant professional experience with a strong track record in leadership roles. Based in Brazil with strong market credibility and experience engaging with regulators, including the Central Bank ecosystem. Proven experience driving growth, revenue, transaction volume, or market share within fintech, payments, crypto, financial infrastructure, or related industries. Experience operating as a senior business leader with ownership of market strategy and execution. Strong commercial mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes, execution, and business impact. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving sales, business development, product, marketing, legal, compliance, policy, and technology teams. Deep understanding of crypto markets, stablecoins, digital banking, payments, foreign exchange, capital markets, or institutional financial flows. Strong network and knowledge of Brazil’s banking, payments, fintech, and digital asset ecosystem. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining accountability and strategic focus. Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and prompt development. Preferred qualifications: Previous experience as a country head or senior executive within fintech, banking, financial services, payments, or blockchain companies. Established reputation and relationships across traditional finance and digital asset ecosystems. Experience scaling businesses in regulated and rapidly changing markets. Experience managing distributed, international, and cross-border teams. Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Apple macOS, and Google Workspace. Benefits: Remote-first work model in Brazil.
