Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep .NET expertise to join a security technology company building next-generation surveillance and access control platforms. You will design and develop high-performance backend services that process real-time alarm correlation, video analytics pipelines, and IoT device communication — powering mission-critical security infrastructure across the Middle East.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable microservices using .NET Core / C# following Clean Architecture, CQRS, and DDD principles
Build and optimize real-time event processing pipelines with Kafka and RabbitMQ
Develop and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs for security platform services
Work with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Redis for data persistence and caching
Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes in production (AWS + Azure)
Implement real-time alarm correlation and video analytics backend processing
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical documentation
Requirements
8+ years of backend development experience
5+ years of production experience with .NET Core / C#
Working knowledge of Node.js or Bun runtime
Production experience with Kubernetes orchestration
Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
Strong database skills: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS, and DDD patterns
Advanced English (C1) — daily communication with international team
Will be a plus
Experience with real-time alarm correlation or event-driven systems
IoT protocol experience (MQTT, ONVIF)
Video analytics or streaming pipeline experience
Security domain knowledge (access control, surveillance systems)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
