Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
Salary: $1200-$1400 USD/month
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and service-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our Remote Offshore People Team. This role is responsible for processing U.S. payroll, administering employee benefits, and serving as a frontline, customer-facing resource for employee inquiries.
This position is call-center centric and requires excellent English communication skills, strong system knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, global team setting.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration (U.S. Payroll Focus)
- Process accurate and timely U.S. payroll using ADP Workforce Now
- Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours, earnings, deductions, and taxes
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and error resolution
- Process payroll adjustments, off-cycle payrolls, and corrections as needed
- Maintain payroll records in compliance with confidentiality and data protection standards
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Benefits Administration
- Support administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
- Assist with new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and open enrollment activities
- Respond to employee benefits inquiries with clarity and professionalism
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve benefits-related issues
Employee Support & Call Handling (Customer-Facing)
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits questions
- Answer incoming calls and manage case resolution in a call-center environment
- Provide accurate, timely, and empathetic responses to employees
- Document employee interactions and resolutions thoroughly
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) to analyze payroll and benefits data
- Prepare reports and data summaries for internal stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy across payroll and HR systems
Process Improvement & Team Collaboration
- Take initiative to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Support system implementations, testing, and enhancements
- Work closely with onshore and offshore team members to meet service standards and deadlines
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing team culture

Preferred Qualifications
