Job Description
We are looking for a Crew Leader to lead small field teams on nationwide industrial installation projects, ensuring high-quality execution and on-site coordination. This role is hands-on, requiring daily involvement in mechanical and basic electrical installation work while guiding a crew to meet project timelines. The position is best suited for someone who has progressed from a technician role into light leadership and is comfortable working in travel-heavy environments. This individual will play a key role in delivering successful installations across manufacturing and industrial job sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a field crew of 3–4 team members on installation projects
- Execute installation of industrial equipment, including mechanical assemblies and basic electrical components
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities, materials, and workflow to stay on schedule
- Interpret basic blueprints, layouts, and installation instructions
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Communicate progress, issues, and updates to Field Supervisors and leadership
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and adjust work plans as needed
- Train and mentor junior technicians to improve team performance
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role such as Crew Leader, Foreman, or Lead Technician
- Hands-on background in industrial installation, mechanical assembly, or construction-related work
- Experience with electrical components or basic wiring is a strong plus
- Ability to read and understand blueprints or installation drawings
- Comfortable leading small teams while remaining active in the field daily
- Willingness to travel 100% for project-based work, including extended time on-site
- Strong reliability, work ethic, and ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license required
