  • Accountabilities: The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an assigned customer territory by developing strong partnerships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions. Key responsibilities include: Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, dealers, contractors, builders, and other trade professionals across the assigned territory. Grow an established portfolio of accounts by identifying opportunities to increase product adoption and strengthen customer partnerships. Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with revenue objectives and long-term business growth goals. Conduct regular customer visits, provide proactive communication, and deliver high-quality support throughout the sales cycle. Present product solutions, merchandising programs, marketing initiatives, and promotional opportunities to customers. Provide product education, training sessions, and support during trade shows and industry events. Partner with regional sales leaders and cross-functional teams to support customer initiatives and business development opportunities. Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and opportunities through CRM tools and established sales processes. Gather customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to support business decisions and future strategies. Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Manage territory travel requirements, administrative responsibilities, and sales reporting activities effectively. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to independently manage a territory while driving sustainable business growth. Required qualifications include: 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably within plumbing, building materials, construction products, or a related industry. Proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with distributors, wholesalers, dealers, contractors, builders, or channel partners. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build credibility with diverse customer groups. Experience delivering product demonstrations, customer training, and sales presentations. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt sales strategies based on customer and market needs. Strong customer-focused mindset with a consultative approach to selling. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to travel regularly throughout an assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred. Experience selling plumbing products, faucets, fixtures, or other building materials is a plus. Familiarity with plumbing wholesalers, kitchen and bath dealers, contractors, and trade professionals is highly valued.
