This role focuses on maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing enterprise network and systems environments with a strong emphasis on both on-premises and Azure cloud networking. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across complex infrastructure landscapes. The position involves hands-on troubleshooting of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies, along with managing cloud networking components in Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with internal technical teams and external clients to resolve incidents, implement solutions, and improve overall network reliability. This is a highly technical and analytical role suited for professionals who thrive in fast-paced operational environments. It offers the opportunity to work on hybrid infrastructures while contributing directly to business continuity and service excellence.
• Accountabilities: In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network and cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. Monitor network performance using tools such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Grafana, and similar platforms Configure and support Layer 2 switching technologies including VLAN, STP, VTP, RSTP, HSRP, and VRRP Troubleshoot network outages, incidents, and performance issues while ensuring timely resolution based on severity Manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and IGRP Configure and support VPN solutions including IPsec and SSL VPN Administer and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, and FortiGate Perform traffic analysis using NetFlow, packet capture, and network monitoring tools Manage Azure networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, UDRs, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Azure Firewall Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud environments Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective network solutions Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure adherence to security and operational standards Manage multiple incidents and tasks simultaneously within defined SLAs Requirements: This position requires strong networking expertise, hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (especially Azure), and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. 3–5+ years of experience in networking, systems engineering, or infrastructure support roles Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching Hands-on experience with network monitoring and incident management tools Practical experience with Azure networking and hybrid cloud environments Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise security practices Excellent communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-700 or equivalent) are highly desirable Benefits: Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale hybrid (on-prem + Azure) environments Exposure to advanced networking, cloud infrastructure, and security technologies Career growth through certifications and technical upskilling opportunities Collaborative, client-facing technical environment Competitive compensation aligned with experience Work on complex, real-world infrastructure and cloud challenges Structured operational environment with defined SLAs and processes Opportunity to work with modern monitoring and automation tools
