This role provides an opportunity to work on cutting-edge Generative AI technologies, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise platforms including Salesforce and AWS. As an AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement scalable AI/GenAI solutions, integrate LLM-powered capabilities into enterprise workflows, and contribute to innovative products that improve productivity, insights, and customer experiences. We are looking for someone who is passionate about AI innovation, experimentation, and solving complex business problems using modern technologies. Key job responsibilities Design and develop AI/GenAI-powered applications and intelligent workflows Build integrations between AI platforms, AWS services, and Salesforce ecosystems Develop scalable APIs, backend services, and automation frameworks for AI solutions Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI-driven business opportunities Implement secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native solutions on AWS Optimize AI model performance, response quality, and operational efficiency Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and drive innovation initiatives across the organization A day in the life As an AI Engineer L4 in Amazon Sales Tech, you will build scalable solutions across AWS, Salesforce, data platforms, and Generative AI technologies. Your day may involve developing APIs, automating workflows, designing intelligent AI-powered features, and integrating large-scale data systems. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiency. You’ll review architecture, debug production issues, optimize system performance, and experiment with emerging AI capabilities including LLMs and automation frameworks. This role offers hands-on exposure to cloud, AI, and enterprise technologies while driving innovation at scale. About the team Amazon Seller Services India builds scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that help millions of sellers grow their businesses. We operate in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment where engineers solve complex problems at scale and directly impact seller experience. We are looking for a Sys Dev Engineer I with strong Salesforce development expertise who is excited to work on enterprise-grade systems and is open to expanding into AWS and GenAI-powered solutions. This role sits at the intersection of application engineering, system design, and operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications
- - 4+ years of systems development experience - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - Experience with Linux/Unix
