Job Description

LocationRemote; however, the candidate must be able to be onsite for go-lives, department rounding and other support activities as needed.

Role Scope:

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Strategic Technology Applications to help build and operate the technology application layer across Habitat Health’s growing PACE organization. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting within the Strategic Technology Applications team, reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Technology Applications.

As Habitat Health expands into new markets and scales its center operations, the Strategic Technology Applications team is responsible for the selection, implementation, training, and ongoing management of the technology systems that enable clinical, operational, growth, and administrative workflows. This role will serve as a key operational and strategic partner, owning a portfolio of applications across multiple domains—include call, clinical, core operations, growth, and risk adjustment systems.

The ideal candidate is a systems-minded, detail-oriented healthcare technology leader who is comfortable navigating vendor relationships, configuring and optimizing software platforms, and partnering with clinical and operational stakeholders to drive adoption and impact.

Responsibilities include:

Application Ownership & Operations

  • Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for a portfolio of strategic technology applications, beginning with call/communications platforms (TalkDesk) and expanding to additional systems over time
  • Manage end-to-end application lifecycle: vendor relationship management, configuration, access provisioning, issue resolution, upgrades, and roadmap planning
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify gaps or friction points, and drive resolution in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation for all owned systems, including configuration guides, workflow SOPs, and user support materials
  • Ensure applications are properly integrated with adjacent systems (e.g., Epic, Salesforce, ancillary clinical tools) and support data integrity across platforms

Implementation & New Center Expansion

  • Lead or co-lead technology application implementations for new PACE centers, including system configuration, workflow validation, user acceptance testing, and go-live support
  • Develop and execute application readiness plans aligned to center launch timelines
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners (Practice Operations, Growth, Clinical, IT) to ensure applications are launch-ready and staff are trained
  • Build repeatable implementation playbooks that support Habitat Health’s continued growth

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Own day-to-day vendor relationships for managed applications, including performance management, escalations, contract oversight support, and roadmap alignment
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions in partnership with the Director of Strategic Technology Applications; support build-vs-buy assessments and vendor selection processes
  • Serve as a trusted internal partner and resource for clinical, operational, and growth teams on technology application needs and capabilities
  • Represent the Strategic Technology Applications team in cross-functional forums, governance bodies, and project teams

Training, Adoption & Change Management

  • Develop and deliver training materials and onboarding programs for managed applications, tailored to diverse end-user roles across clinical, operational, and administrative functions
  • Partner with the Principal Trainer, Epic and other training resources to ensure coordinated rollout of new tools and workflow changes
  • Track adoption metrics and user feedback, and use insights to inform configuration improvements and ongoing support strategies
  • Support change management planning for system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and workflow redesigns

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, health IT, or a related field, with hands-on ownership of enterprise software applications
  • Demonstrated experience managing or implementing SaaS/cloud-based applications in a healthcare setting (experience with call center platforms, CRM, or clinical ancillary systems a plus)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proven ability to translate business and clinical requirements into technology configurations and workflow improvements
  • Comfortable working with both technical vendors and non-technical clinical/operational stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation, SOPs, and executive-facing updates
  • Experience supporting multi-site healthcare operations or rapid program expansion preferred
  • Familiarity with PACE, Medicare/Medicaid, or other regulated healthcare environments preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience with TalkDesk, Salesforce, Abridge, or other contact center / ambient AI documentation tools
  • Exposure to health plan systems (claims, eligibility, encounter submissions) or risk adjustment platforms
  • Background in change management methodology

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $147,000 – $171,000. This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 10% of the base salary and may be eligible for additional incentive compensation, as applicable.

The final compensation offered will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, education, certifications, geographical location, and business needs.

In addition, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage; life insurance; flexible spending accounts; a 401(k) savings plan that includes a match; paid time off; and company paid holidays.
