Job Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill a Spanish Speaking Content Moderator Social Media position in Bulgaria, representing a unique and rewarding opportunity within the dynamic social media industry. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and moderating user-generated content across leading social media platforms, ensuring that online communities remain safe, respectful, and in full compliance with platform policies. This is an exceptional opening for Spanish-speaking professionals who are passionate about digital communication, online safety, and social media, and who are eager to build a meaningful international career in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate Spanish-language user-generated content — including text, images, videos, and comments — across major social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and platform standards.
  • Identify, assess, and action content that violates social media policies, including harmful, abusive, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate material, applying consistent and fair judgement at all times.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive content cases to senior moderation teams or specialist departments in accordance with established workflows and protocols.
  • Accurately document moderation decisions and outcomes within internal content management systems, maintaining detailed and reliable records for reporting and quality assurance purposes.
  • Stay fully up to date with the latest social media platform policies, community guidelines, and content moderation best practices, adapting to policy changes quickly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads, quality analysts, and fellow moderators to ensure a consistently high standard of content review across all Spanish-language social media channels.
  • Participate in regular feedback sessions, coaching programmes, and calibration exercises to continually improve moderation accuracy and personal performance metrics.
  • Support the wider content moderation team in identifying emerging trends, new types of harmful content, and potential risks within the social media landscape, contributing to proactive platform safety initiatives.
