The Software Engineering Team Lead will play a key role in guiding engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-impact technology solutions. • Accountabilities The Software Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for leading engineering teams, supporting technical delivery, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Lead, mentor, and develop a software engineering team, supporting individual growth and career progression. Drive the delivery of critical products, features, and technical solutions that support business objectives. Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. Promote engineering best practices, modern development approaches, and continuous improvement initiatives. Create an environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, ownership, and accountability. Influence technical decisions related to architecture, scalability, and long-term platform evolution. Support effective Agile delivery processes and ensure teams remain aligned with priorities and goals. Guide engineers through technical challenges while encouraging autonomy and problem-solving. Introduce and promote the use of productivity-enhancing tools, including AI-powered development solutions. Ensure software solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with engineering standards. Requirements The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering experience combined with proven leadership capabilities. Required qualifications include: Proven experience leading software engineering teams and mentoring developers. Strong PHP development expertise with experience building production applications. Experience with Symfony or similar modern frameworks. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and scalable software design. Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design principles and software architecture best practices. Experience delivering software solutions within Agile and cross-functional environments. Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, or GitLab workflows. Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to coach, inspire, and empower engineers to achieve their best performance. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and solutions evolve quickly.
