- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and ObjectiveC.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
- Manage the app's deployment lifecycle, including regular updates and adhering to App Store compliance.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation using tools like Fastlane for continuous integration
Core Technical Skills
- Proven working experience in software development with a focus on iOS applications.
- Deep familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Strong knowledge in web services integration.
- REST API calls with URLSession/Alamofire
- Experience with databases such as UserDefaults, CoreData, and Realm.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager for dependency management.
- Familiarity with XCTest for designing and implementing tests.
- Experience in deploying apps via TestFlight and the App Store.
- Knowledge of continuous integration, with Fastlane.
Architecture & Patterns
● Experience designing reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure.
● Strong understanding of SRE principles: SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
● Experience with event-driven systems, asynchronous workers, and queues.
● Familiarity with fintech complexity: idempotency, retries, double-entry systems, compliance.
● Understanding of zero-downtime deployments and high-availability architecture.
