As a contributor in the SRE organization, you are passionate about delivering solutions to the real-time problems our mission-critical cloud native services encounter. You are also obsessed about achieving the high quality and reliability our customers demand. You will work closely not only with the SRE division, but your technical deliverables will reach the entire engineering organization to enable product teams to continuously deliver features on the vanguard of innovation.
What You'll Do
Location: Remote anywhere in Australia
- Contribute to building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms and tools.
- Apply site reliability engineering principles to improve system stability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in distributed cloud-native systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support service reliability and operational excellence.
- Create and maintain documentation to support engineers and improve self-service capabilities.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, learning best practices along the way.
- Continuously develop your skills and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles
- Solid understanding of operating systems, preferably Linux
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms like AKS, EKS, or similar
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C#, Java, or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
- Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, APM)
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., Terraform, ARM, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Australian government security clearance, or ability to obtain clearance (AUS citizenship) required
