• This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Shape the future of AI - Assamese Talent Hub based in India. This role contributes directly to the development and refinement of next-generation AI systems by evaluating and validating machine-generated translations and language outputs. You will work on Assamese language datasets, reviewing and comparing AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, fluency, and contextual correctness. The work involves structured linguistic evaluation, critical thinking, and high attention to detail, as your assessments directly influence the quality of AI training data. You will operate in a fully remote, flexible environment where independence and consistency are key. The role is ideal for language professionals who want to apply their expertise to cutting-edge AI development. • Accountabilities: Review English source texts alongside two AI-generated Assamese translations and evaluate their accuracy, fluency, and overall quality Select the preferred translation (A or B) and provide clear written justification for evaluation decisions Assess machine-generated outputs following structured guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability of feedback Review audio files and corresponding transcriptions for accuracy, completeness, and linguistic quality Evaluate transcription and audio alignment quality based on defined project standards Work independently to complete assigned evaluation tasks within deadlines and quality expectations Ensure strict adherence to project instructions, linguistic guidelines, and quality benchmarks Contribute to improving AI language systems through high-quality annotation and validation work Requirements: Native-level fluency in Assamese (written and spoken) Strong proficiency in English for comprehension and written evaluation tasks Excellent written communication skills in Assamese Background in linguistics, translation, language studies, or related fields preferred Strong attention to detail with ability to evaluate subtle linguistic differences Ability to work independently with consistency and reliability Familiarity with transliteration or Romanized script conventions is a plus Comfortable working in a structured, guideline-driven annotation environment Strong analytical thinking and ability to justify language-related decisions clearly Benefits: Fully remote, flexible freelance work arrangement Opportunity to contribute directly to the development of advanced AI language systems Project-based engagement with control over workload and availability Access to optional AI and LLM-related learning workshops Collaboration with a global contributor and linguist community Structured guidance and support throughout project participation Meaningful impact on multilingual AI quality and performance
