We’re looking for a hands-on SEO Specialist to manage and execute our organic search efforts with a strong focus on local SEO, content optimization, and lead generation. This role is execution-heavy and results-driven, supporting multiple websites through technical SEO improvements, scalable content creation, and on-page optimization to increase visibility, rankings, and inbound phone calls.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes directly using WordPress, HTML/CSS, and SEO best practices
  • Optimize site structure, page speed, headers (H1/H2), metadata, internal linking, and schema markup (JSON-LD)
  • Create, update, and optimize location pages and service pages to support local SEO and Google Business Profile performance
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support efficient creation and optimization of SEO content
  • Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, local relevance, and conversion intent
  • Produce and optimize high-volume SEO content, including blogs, service pages, and location-based pages using repeatable structures
  • Structure content to improve visibility in organic search results, featured snippets, and FAQs where applicable
  • Implement and maintain structured data (FAQ, HowTo, Article schema) to support search visibility
  • Use tools such as SurferSEO, SEMrush, or Ahrefs for content optimization, audits, keyword research, and performance tracking
  • Research competitor websites, keywords, and rankings to identify new SEO opportunities
  • Monitor organic performance and recommend improvements to increase traffic and inbound leads
  • Collaborate with marketing and web teams to execute SEO-driven content and site updates
  • Support occasional SEO-related email or outreach efforts when needed (e.g., announcements or time-sensitive campaigns)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • At least 2 years of experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with on-page and technical SEO
  • Experience optimizing local SEO websites, including service-area and location-based pages
  • Experience working directly in WordPress and familiarity with basic HTML/CSS
  • Solid understanding of keyword intent, headers, metadata, internal linking, and content structure
  • Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SurferSEO
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve speed and efficiency in content creation
  • Available to work in US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines)
  • Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer

Technical Requirements:

  • Comfortable in using time-trackers (e.g. Time Doctor)
  • Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
  • Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
  • Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace
