• This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Liquidity Platform based in India. This is a high-impact engineering role focused on building and scaling core liquidity infrastructure that powers large-scale crypto trading systems. You will work on designing and optimizing high-performance, low-latency platforms that support real-time trading, market making, and liquidity aggregation across global markets. The role sits at the intersection of distributed systems engineering, financial trading technology, and crypto market infrastructure. You will contribute to systems that directly influence execution quality, pricing efficiency, and market depth for millions of users and institutional participants. Working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with trading, quant, and product teams. • Accountabilities: Design, build, and optimize high-performance liquidity systems supporting real-time trading and market operations Develop scalable distributed systems that handle large volumes of market data, orders, and execution flows with low latency Build and enhance market-making, pricing, and liquidity aggregation components across global trading infrastructure Collaborate with trading, quant, and product teams to translate business and trading requirements into technical solutions Improve system reliability, performance, and fault tolerance in mission-critical trading environments Work on API, exchange, and internal infrastructure integrations supporting institutional and retail trading flows Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring stability under high-frequency and high-volume market conditions Contribute to architectural decisions for next-generation liquidity and trading platform capabilities Participate in incident response, debugging, and resolution of production issues in real time environments Drive engineering best practices in code quality, testing, scalability, and system design Requirements: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong focus on backend or distributed systems Strong experience building high-performance, low-latency systems in trading, fintech, or large-scale platforms Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Java, Go, C++, or similar) Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, concurrency, and performance optimization Experience working with real-time data processing, APIs, and high-throughput messaging systems Strong knowledge of system design principles and scalable infrastructure patterns Familiarity with trading systems, liquidity systems, or financial market infrastructure is highly preferred Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in complex, fast-moving environments Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, trading, and quantitative teams Strong ownership mindset with ability to independently drive technical solutions end-to-end Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly Benefits: Competitive total compensation package Performance-based incentives and growth opportunities Exposure to large-scale global trading and liquidity systems Opportunity to work on mission-critical financial infrastructure Learning and development support programs Collaborative, high-performance engineering culture Global team environment with cross-functional exposure Career growth opportunities in advanced trading technology and crypto infrastructure Participation in innovative, high-scale distributed systems projects
