Senior Sales Engineer

Job Description
Recorded Future is looking for a highly-motivated Senior Sales Engineer to join a team of talented sales engineers supporting the West sales organization in North America. Strong technical acumen in multiple security technologies is a must, as well as prior experience selling security products or services. An ability to partner with sales and connect technical concepts to outcomes customers care about will be keys to your success.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with customers to deeply understand their challenges, ideal outcomes, and technical requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, providing customers authentic advice and experience that allows them to make the best decision for their business
- Partner with Account Executives to build and execute sales strategies
- Create deep relationships with sales counterparts that allows you to ask for and provide feedback after every conversation
- Create content that helps uplevel the entire Sales Engineering team, including knowledge base articles, new presentations, demo talk tracks, and more
- Provide customized product demonstrations that speak directly to how Recorded Future can help the customer achieve the specific business outcomes they care about
- Create and execute proof of value (PoV) strategies that prove to customers that Recorded Future is the right solution for their business needs
- Create business justifications and/or executive business case presentations to tie Recorded Future solutions to customer outcomes, enabling them to justify the decision
- Act as a 1-on1 mentor for new hire SEs during onboarding
- Support interviewing of Account Executive and Sales Engineering team candidates
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years experience as an SE selling security services/product or experience working as an intelligence analyst/officer
- Natural sense of curiosity and urgency
- Ability to not just answer the question, but to understand WHY the question is being asked
- Understanding of intelligence principles (intelligence cycle, PIRs, etc.) and the ability to illustrate the value of cyber threat intelligence objectives
- Excellent communication skills that enable you to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical personnel from incident responders to C-level executives
- Willingness to travel at least 30%
The base salary range for this full-time position is $143,000-$200,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary displayed reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by state, work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K.
