This role sits at the intersection of healthcare finance, operational analytics, and revenue cycle performance management, supporting critical back-end hospital operations. You will be responsible for transforming complex operational and financial data into actionable insights that improve cash performance and overall revenue cycle efficiency. The position plays a key role in monitoring KPIs, building executive-level reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making across acute back-end operations. You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment between operations, analytics, and executive leadership. This role also involves developing scalable reporting tools, tracking performance trends, and identifying opportunities for process optimization. You will operate in a highly collaborative environment where data, analytics, and healthcare operations converge. This is a high-impact position focused on improving financial outcomes and operational performance across healthcare systems.
  • Accountabilities: Lead and support recurring stakeholder meetings to drive alignment, accountability, and operational outcomes across revenue cycle functions. Serve as the Working on the Business (WOTB) coordinator for Acute Back-End Operations, ensuring timely execution of initiatives and deliverables. Develop and analyze KPI scorecards, TIPS reports, and executive dashboards to support leadership decision-making. Create executive summaries, financial reports, and operational performance analyses for senior stakeholders. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities in financial and operational data to improve performance and efficiency. Manage project coordination efforts including planning, tracking, risk assessment, and status reporting. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analytics outputs. Support process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to tools, workflows, and reporting systems. Coordinate cross-functional communication and maintain documentation for key initiatives and projects. Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and support for executive leadership as needed. Requirements: 5–7 years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare analytics, financial operations, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools; experience with Access preferred. Experience using reporting tools such as Business Objects and SQL strongly preferred. Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required or strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial, operational, and KPI-driven data. Experience in project coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management in complex environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate independently. Strong communication skills with ability to create executive-level summaries and presentations. Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle operations and performance metrics is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI or advanced analytics tools for process improvement is a plus.
