Description
- Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is a fast-growing business focused on enabling customers to find inspiration, information, entertainment, and community through video content at any point in their shopping journey. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to own the end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) planning and launch coordination for our Live Self-Service (LSS) program. This technically-oriented role serves as the primary liaison between the LSS business team, Amazon Ads PMM and Sales GTM, and product/engineering organizations to ensure tight alignment between what we build and how we bring it to market. The ideal candidate is a builder of mechanisms — someone who can establish repeatable intake processes, create visibility frameworks that keep stakeholders informed, and drive cross-functional coordination across product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams. This role requires technical fluency and the ability to build trusted relationships within the Ads organization to drive deeper integration of LSS into the broader Ads organization. You will own the GTM calendar, establish the cadence and mechanisms for product-to-market handoffs, and ensure that every launch is coordinated, tracked, and communicated effectively. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong cross-functional influence, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to drive clarity in a fast-moving environment. You will work closely with Directors and VPs across multiple organizations, translate complex technical roadmaps into actionable GTM plans, and build the connective tissue between teams that enables LSS to scale. Key job responsibilities • Own the full GTM planning calendar for LSS, coordinating feature launches, product releases, and market rollouts across all stakeholder teams • Establish and manage the product GTM intake process — defining how new features, capabilities, and integrations are surfaced, prioritized, and tracked through the GTM pipeline • Drive launch coordination between product/engineering and marketing/sales GTM teams, ensuring clear handoffs, launch readiness criteria, and aligned timelines • Build and maintain mechanisms for surfacing program status, milestones, risks, and updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., program reviews, dashboards, status reports, narratives) • Build and deepen relationships within the Ads organization to advocate for LSS integration opportunities, remove blockers, and accelerate delivery of shared priorities • Partner with product and engineering teams to understand technical roadmaps, identify dependencies, assess risks, and drive alignment on timelines and deliverables • Drive cross-functional alignment through regular cadences, written communications (narratives, status reports, program documents), and stakeholder reviews • Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies, reduce dependencies, and simplify workflows to accelerate speed of delivery • Use data and metrics to drive decision-making, track program health, and proactively surface risks before they become blockers A day in the life You start your morning reviewing the GTM calendar and triaging new feature intake requests from product teams. Mid-morning, you join a cross-functional sync with engineering and Ads PMM to align on an upcoming launch timeline. After lunch, you draft a status narrative for leadership, surfacing risks and milestones across active workstreams. In the afternoon, you meet with Ads Sales GTM partners to ensure launch readiness criteria are met, then close the day updating your program dashboard and unblocking a dependency with a partner engineering team. About the team Amazon Live Self Service (LSS) is a program within Amazon Shopping Videos that enables brands to launch shoppable livestreams through self-service tools — without requiring managed service support. Our mission is to make live-commerce accessible to any brand at any scale by providing easy-to-use tools, educational resources, and partner networks that lower the barrier to entry. The LSS team operates at the intersection of product, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategy, working closely with internal account teams, agency partners, and cross-functional product and engineering stakeholders to drive adoption and brand success across global marketplaces.
