About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager at CharterUP, you’ll join a lean, high-impact team driving the next evolution of products powering our marketplace business. In this role, you’ll take ownership of advancing our current product suite — from refining strategy to delivering new capabilities that strengthen and scale the future of group transportation.
You’ll lead the product function for our go-to-market efforts, prioritize the highest-impact opportunities, and guide enhancements through the full development lifecycle. Your work will help deepen trust with our clients, empower our network of bus operators, and drive measurable revenue growth.
Collaborating closely with passionate teams across sales, engineering, and design, you’ll be at the center of CharterUP’s mission to transform the charter bus industry through technology and innovation. Reports to: VP of Product
Location: Brazil (Remote)
What You'll Do
- Prioritization & Acceleration: Accelerate and manage the marketplace roadmap that outlines go-to-market capabilities for our existing customers, while prioritizing strategic initiatives, new features, and optimizations to meet the needs of customers, operators, and internal stakeholders. Make informed prioritization decisions based on business value, technical feasibility, and user impact. Balance short-term requirements with long-term strategic goals.
- Product Initiatives: Drive the evolution of CharterUP’s customer-facing marketplace, expanding our existing, market-leading platform to deliver measurable outcomes for this business unit. Own the vision and roadmap — defining and delivering new features that enhance the experience for customers, passengers, and internal teams alike.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Understand user needs through direct feedback, data analysis, and user session recording capabilities. Champion solutions that prioritize user experience and customer satisfaction.
- Feature Definition: Translate high-level concepts into detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications. Work closely with designers and developers to bring these concepts to life.
- Collaborative Development: Drive Agile scrum development processes, collaborating with dedicated teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery every sprint. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retros.
- Metrics & Analysis: Cultivate our data-driven mindset for decision-making. Define KPIs and success metrics to measure the impact of new features and improvements. Regularly analyze data to inform product decisions. Continuously analyzing user behavior and feedback to improve decision-making and prioritization
- Stakeholder Communication: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate product advancements, progress, and results effectively to internal teams.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products. Large-scale deployments, B2C, Marketplace background, transit and/or mobility experience is a strong plus!
- Startup Mindset: Bias for action and with the ability to operate in an environment of extreme agility and high ambiguity.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software development processes, Agile, Scrum, and technology concepts.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify challenges and break down complexity into incremental and creative solutions.
- Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in using data to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans and deliverables.
