Job Description

At StackAdapt we are committed and focused on developing and growing our team by creating growth and learning paths that excite and engage them. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced People Science and Insights Analyst who thrives in the "gray area"—someone who can take messy, imperfect data and transform it into a clear narrative that shapes the future of our workforce.

This isn't just about building dashboards; it’s about being a strategic architect for our People & Culture team. You’ll be the bridge between raw talent data and executive-level decision-making, using everything from regression models to Organizational Network Analysis (ONA) to help us scale intelligently.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we’re open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Consult & Collaborate: Act as an internal analytics consultant for our stakeholders. You’ll help them define the "why" before you build the "how."
  • Wrangle & Refine: Hack through imperfect datasets to produce clear, defensible insights. You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty in the data trenches to ensure our leadership has the right signal amidst the noise.
  • Predict & Optimize: Build and deploy end-to-end models to help us stay ahead of organizational trends and enhance our people programs.
  • Storytelling with Data: Translate complex statistical outputs into compelling, jargon-free stories that drive action at the executive level.
  • Scale the Stack: Design and maintain automated workflows and data products (using dbt/Snowflake) that move us away from ad-hoc requests toward scalable self-service.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Proven expertise in people analytics, workforce data science, or a related field within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines or databases (e.g., SQL, Python, dbt, or equivalent).
  • Prior working experience partnering with HR, Finance, or People teams to deliver data-driven insights and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in people analytics and a commitment to responsible, ethical data use.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative, self-directed work style with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently.
