- Accountabilities: The Senior Observability Architect will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through their observability journey and ensuring successful adoption of advanced monitoring and reliability practices. This role requires strong architectural knowledge, customer-facing skills, and the ability to translate technical challenges into scalable solutions. Act as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of strategic customers, supporting their observability initiatives. Design and guide customer observability maturity strategies, helping teams improve reliability and operational visibility. Provide expert troubleshooting, technical guidance, and recommendations to resolve complex challenges. Conduct technical reviews, health checks, and architecture assessments to identify improvement opportunities. Support root cause analysis processes and help customers address incidents affecting performance and reliability. Advise customers on best practices for implementing and optimizing observability solutions. Develop technical roadmaps aligned with customer goals, business needs, and platform capabilities. Drive adoption of monitoring, logging, and telemetry solutions to maximize customer value. Collaborate with internal teams to represent customer needs, feedback, and product improvement opportunities. Deliver workshops, training sessions, technical documentation, guides, and enablement materials. Partner with account and customer teams to evaluate success metrics, ROI, satisfaction, and future opportunities. Prepare and present reports highlighting customer achievements, technical progress, and areas of focus. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in observability, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing technical roles. You should be comfortable working with complex environments, collaborating with global teams, and designing solutions that improve system reliability and performance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in technical support, technical account management, solutions engineering, consulting, or professional services roles within technology organizations. Strong experience with observability concepts, architectures, and best practices. Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes environments. Experience with observability technologies such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, and priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Experience working with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, programming languages, or related technical tools. Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, global, and cross-functional environments. Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with customers when required. Nice to have: Previous experience in technical sales, technical account management, or post-sales engineering roles. Experience with open-source technologies or observability platforms. Ability to connect technical implementations with business value and ROI. Experience managing customer lifecycle strategies and adoption challenges. Strong background in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
