Senior Java Developer | B2B Contract

Job Description

• We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a fintech project focused on scalable backend systems, data integration, and event-driven architecture. The role involves developing Java / Spring Boot microservices and working with data streaming and/or Data Warehouse solutions.
• Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build and support microservices and event-driven solutions. Work with messaging and data streaming tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies. Contribute to data integration, CDC, ETL/ELT, and/or DWH-related initiatives. Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or similar. Collaborate with engineering, data, DevOps, and business teams.
• Must-Have Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. Proven experience with microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging/streaming technologies. Experience with data streaming and/or Data Warehouse / DWH projects. Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or similar). Fluent in English.
• Nice to Have: Previous experience in fintech, banking, or financial systems.
• €40 - €50 an hour Duration: 12 months.
