The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a seasoned SaaS product marketing leader with deep expertise in payments and fraud management, strong technical fluency, and the ability to craft and communicate compelling value propositions that resonate with financial and e-commerce audiences.
The Role
The Director of Product Marketing (Banking & Payment Fraud Management) will ensure strong alignment between the development teams, and the sales and marketing teams, while supporting aggressive expansion into the North American market.
Your job will include being a product and market evangelist, translating R&D technical information about features and functionality into benefits that our customers can understand, bridging technical product features (like encryption, authentication) with market needs, defining value propositions, creating go-to-market (GTM) strategies, developing compelling content, enabling go-to-market teams, and analyzing market trends for payment security solutions, focusing on translating complex tech into customer benefits for financial or e-commerce audiences. To succeed in this role, you will need to be an expert in our product, our customers, and our target market. This role ensures alignment across marketing, sales, product and the market.
Responsibilities
- Product positioning and messaging: Assist in developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions in the market, utilizing your knowledge of buyer personas, the problems they face, the benefits our products provide, and why our products matter
- Solution evangelist: Be a content contributor, spokesperson and thought leader. Help to generate awareness and create demand for Entersekt solutions through modern, digital marketing channels as well as in-person events.
- Sales enablement: Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and assist with product and messaging training and tools to use in the sales process. These tools may include PowerPoint presentations, videos, infographics, brochures, competitor cheat sheets, and customer success stories.
- Product launch: Plan and coordinate the launch of new products and releases (upgrades), and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plans.
- Market intelligence: Have a constant understanding of market trends and dynamics. Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and what their buying criteria are; be the expert on our competition and how to differentiate ourselves from them.
- Content creation: Advise the marketing team on the campaign topics needed to educate our customers and assist in providing quality content to support these campaigns such as whitepapers, eBooks, blog posts, and webinars.
- Pricing and Price Book Management: Work closely with product management to define, track and manage solution pricing and packaging, ensuring sales has what is required for net new, upsell, cross sell and renewal sales.
Skills and Experience
Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other related field
- Proven experience in product marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, and GTM strategy.
- Excellent writing and presentation communication skills
- 8+ years’ Saas product marketing experience with at least 3 years in payments, fraud or security
- Domain experience in financial services digital banking, payments, fraud management and 3D-Secure highly preferred
- Advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce preferred
- A demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage positive and successful client relationships, including at a senior level
- Excellent people and management skills as you will need to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
- A relevant technical background
- A commercially oriented outlook
