Job Description
About the Role
Engine is looking for a Senior Director, Lodging Supply Partnerships to help lead and scale our lodging supply ecosystem.
This role is focused on building deep, strategic partnerships with hotel chains, property management groups (PMGs), and select lodging technology and distribution partners to unlock differentiated access, support international growth, and enable supplier-facing capabilities on the Engine platform.
You will operate as a senior leader working closely with executives and across Supply, Partnerships, Product, Operations, and Finance. In this role, you will help shape how Engine works with lodging suppliers - both as a distribution channel and as a technology partner - while ensuring partnerships are scalable, commercially sound, and durable over time.
This is a senior leadership role with significant influence and external visibility, serving as a primary representative of Engine in complex lodging partnerships and strategic supplier discussions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow Engine’s strategic lodging partnerships across hotel chains, PMGs, and key supply partners
- Serve as a senior external representative of Engine in complex, multi-stakeholder partner relationships
- Develop and execute lodging supply partnership strategies aligned with Engine’s growth and customer experience objectives
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to inform supplier-facing capabilities, integrations, and workflows from a lodging partner and commercial perspective
- Act as a subject-matter expert on lodging distribution models, supplier economics, and partner requirements
- Support Engine’s role as a technology and platform partner to lodging suppliers, enabling new capabilities and integrations over time
- Establish scalable operating approaches for supplier engagement, onboarding, and ongoing partnership management
- Monitor industry trends across lodging distribution, hotel technology, and competitive dynamics to inform prioritization and execution
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience leading complex, high-impact partnerships in travel, hospitality, fintech, enterprise SaaS, marketplaces, or platform businesses
- Proven track record structuring and scaling strategic partnerships that balance near-term growth with long-term trust, incentives, and leverage
- Experience working with large, sophisticated partners (e.g., hotel groups, platforms, enterprise customers, technology partners, or ecosystem players) at the executive level
- Strong commercial judgment with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs across growth, economics, risk, and durability
- Comfort engaging on platform- and technology-adjacent topics (e.g., integrations, workflows, enablement models) without owning product roadmaps or architecture
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally through influence in matrixed, fast-scaling organizations
- Executive presence, clear communication, and sound decision-making under ambiguity
Applications for this role will be accepted through May 23rd, 2026 or until the role is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as we may begin reviewing applications before the deadline.
