This role sits at the intersection of advanced AI innovation and healthcare transformation, focusing on building intelligent systems that improve hospital operations and patient outcomes. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models with a strong emphasis on generative AI, LLMs, and predictive analytics. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will partner with product leaders, engineers, and analysts to translate complex healthcare challenges into scalable AI solutions. Your work will directly contribute to reducing healthcare costs and improving efficiency across large health systems nationwide. You will also explore and implement modern AI frameworks, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and LLM evaluation strategies. This is a high-impact, innovation-driven role where experimentation, ownership, and continuous learning are central to success.
  • Accountabilities: Lead the design and development of AI/ML solutions, including generative AI, predictive models, and LLM-based systems for healthcare use cases. Conduct advanced data exploration, feature engineering, and statistical analysis to generate actionable insights. Build and optimize machine learning pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in production environments. Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions. Evaluate model performance and run rigorous experiments to improve accuracy, efficiency, and business impact. Communicate findings clearly through reports, dashboards, and presentations to support strategic decision-making. Requirements: 5–7 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles, with proven production-level model deployment experience. Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or XGBoost. Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data modeling techniques. Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and modern AI tooling (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent). Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD workflows, and cloud-based data systems (Azure or similar). Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
