Job Description
The Role
Angi (formerly Angie’s List) is looking for a copy expert to help us remodel our brand voice and build enduring brand memory. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll work across homeowner and pro audiences, US and international markets, and upper and lower-funnel creative tactics. You’ll contribute across channels: organic social posts, technical B2B emails, nationwide TV spots, paid social scripts, and more. You’ll be an essential part of a small, ambitious creative crew whose mission is to build brand and drive conversions with homeowners and pros.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all customer acquisition copy across audiences, channels, funnel stages, and global markets
- Build Angi’s brands with copy that drives views, conversation, and conversion
- Help evolve our voice with tone and messaging guidelines while safeguarding our verbal expression across the organization
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the creative team, project managers, channel owners, agencies, and executives
- Own a copy-first organic social strategy on X and Threads
- Contribute meaningfully to paid social creative with concepts, scripts, headlines, and more
- Have fun doing work that we all genuinely like
Who You Are
- An experienced copywriter with 5+ years of experience working in-house or at agencies who can quickly (and cleanly) draft, version, and iterate
- A social media lover and practitioner who can bring great ideas to life and is adept at concepting and scripting for organic and paid
- An evidence-based, insights-hungry creative who doesn’t just rely on instinct
- A flexible thinker who welcomes and seeks out feedback and understands how to action it
- Someone who’s shipped big work with a small team
- A global citizen who can make an impact in more than one national market with a localized lens
- A writer who understands the power of AI tools, adopts them early, and uses them often
- A nice person: we want to work with people we like and trust and have a good time with
- Having a personal connection to home services is a big plus

Compensation & Benefits
- The salary band for this position ranges $110,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
- This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
