What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, Python, Postman, SoapUI, and JMeter
- Develop and execute automation for UI, API, integration, component, performance, load, regression, and data quality tests with comprehensive pipeline integration
- Build test suites leveraging non-UI automation such as SOAP/REST APIs, microservices, backend components, workflow processes, workflow automation steps, scheduled jobs, and data pipelines
- Architect and maintain reusable, modular automation code that supports scalable regression testing across multiple applications and environments
- Implement cross-browser and cross-platform testing solutions
- Develop automated performance and load testing solutions to validate reliability, capacity, scalability, and failover behavior of systems
- Analyze test results and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to triage issues and drive fast resolution
- Provide technical guidance to improve system architecture for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in testing pre-production and post-production releases, reviewing results, identifying risks, and approving deployments
- Stay current on modern automation tools, development technologies, cloud capabilities, and emerging quality engineering practices
- Use SQL to validate test data, set up test cases, and validate backend behavior through direct database queries
- Work across functional teams in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment to ensure test automation is aligned with business goals
- Leverage AI-assisted automation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Playwright Test Generator) to speed up test creation, data generation, and framework development
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with Microsoft technologies and C#/.NET
- Strong experience with ASP.NET, SQL Server, RESTful services, and MVC architecture
- Strong experience with MVVC, ASP.NET, frontend frameworks such as React or Angular using typescript
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, common design patterns, security principles, and software engineering best practices
- Proven ability to document and communicate technical designs and architectural decisions
- Experience working on large-scale, complex systems with high availability and performance requirements
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with US companies and US stakeholders
