This role serves as a trusted strategic partner to a portfolio of nonprofit and mission-driven clients, helping them achieve meaningful fundraising outcomes. You will guide integrated direct response, digital, and multichannel campaigns from strategy through execution and optimization. Working closely with creative, project management, analytics, digital, and production teams, you will bring structure and clarity to complex initiatives. The role combines relationship management, strategic planning, campaign leadership, and performance analysis in a highly collaborative environment. You will have meaningful influence over client strategy while helping identify opportunities to strengthen donor engagement and fundraising effectiveness. Success requires someone who can balance big-picture thinking with exceptional organization, communication, and attention to detail.   • Accountabilities Serve as the primary day-to-day strategic partner for an assigned portfolio of nonprofit clients, developing trusted relationships and understanding their missions, fundraising objectives, organizational priorities, and long-term goals. Execute integrated fundraising strategies across direct mail, digital, and multichannel campaigns while aligning activities with client objectives. Participate in annual planning, campaign strategy sessions, budgeting discussions, quarterly business reviews, and client presentations. Lead weekly client status meetings by establishing agendas, documenting decisions and next steps, and maintaining accountability across client and internal teams. Maintain clear documentation of campaign strategies, client communications, meeting notes, action items, project decisions, and other critical information. Keep senior account leadership informed of client progress, potential risks, emerging opportunities, and key decisions. Guide fundraising campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring initiatives remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with agreed objectives. Collaborate with project management teams to coordinate timelines, deliverables, budgets, approvals, and production milestones. Serve as the strategic liaison throughout creative development, reviewing concepts, copy, proofs, and campaign materials before client presentation. Partner with Data & Analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance, translate fundraising data into actionable insights, and identify opportunities for optimization. Support campaign analyses, performance reports, and quarterly business reviews while recommending testing strategies to improve results. Collaborate across Creative, Project Management, Production, Digital, and Analytics teams to deliver high-quality client experiences. Proactively resolve challenges, navigate ambiguity, improve internal processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives through influence, alignment, and accountability. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. 3–5 years of experience in account management, fundraising, marketing, agency services, consulting, or another client-facing environment. Demonstrated experience managing multiple client relationships and concurrent projects. Strong project management, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities, with confidence engaging both clients and internal stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail and a consistent commitment to quality and follow-through. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute effectively and manage operational details. Ability to build trust quickly, communicate proactively, and maintain productive long-term client relationships. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve. Solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, curiosity, and initiative. Experience with direct response fundraising or nonprofit marketing is preferred. Agency or consulting experience is a plus. Experience supporting integrated digital fundraising campaigns is advantageous. Familiarity with Asana or similar project management platforms is preferred. Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus. Candidates located in the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones are strongly preferred.
