• This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Project Manager based in India. This role is responsible for leading technology and enterprise application projects from planning through successful delivery and closure. You will coordinate offshore teams, manage project governance, and ensure initiatives remain aligned with scope, timelines, budgets, and business objectives. The position combines hands-on project coordination with leadership, reporting, risk management, and quality oversight. Acting as a key liaison between distributed delivery teams and onshore leadership, you will ensure priorities, requirements, and expectations remain clearly aligned. You will manage multiple stakeholders and initiatives while proactively addressing risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery challenges. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to business transformation and enterprise technology initiatives in a collaborative, globally distributed environment.
• Accountabilities: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, execution strategies, schedules, resource forecasts, and detailed project plans. Establish and maintain project governance while ensuring adherence to agreed project management standards, methodologies, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints, develop mitigation plans, and evaluate the impact of scope changes on timelines, budgets, and resources. Lead daily operations for offshore project teams, assign priorities and responsibilities, monitor workload distribution, and support resource and capacity planning. Coordinate technical, functional, and business resources while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Serve as the primary liaison between offshore delivery teams and onshore leadership, communicating project requirements, priorities, objectives, progress, and business expectations. Provide regular status updates, milestone reporting, project health assessments, dashboards, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Track project performance against milestones and deliverables while maintaining schedules, action logs, risk registers, status reports, and other governance documentation. Monitor budget utilization, resource allocation, schedule performance, and overall delivery health. Proactively identify issues, coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts, escalate roadblocks, and recommend corrective actions when projects deviate from plan. Lead project closure activities, post-project reviews, lessons-learned exercises, and knowledge-transfer initiatives. Ensure completed projects transition effectively to operational or support teams and that project documentation remains complete and accessible. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 5–8 years of project management experience leading technology, business transformation, enterprise application, or consulting projects. Proven experience managing offshore or geographically distributed teams and coordinating resources across locations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong knowledge of project planning, governance, risk and issue management, resource allocation, scheduling, and delivery oversight. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, stakeholder management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate business objectives and project requirements into clear delivery priorities and actionable plans. Experience working with U.S.-based clients is preferred. Ability to work overlapping hours with the U.S. Central Time Zone. PMP certification is preferred. An MBA is preferred. Experience in IT consulting, managed services, enterprise applications, or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage. Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Benefits Remote working opportunity from India.
