About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing Australian wholesale distribution business supplying a wide range of cannabis products to commercial and retail partners. They focus on building strong relationships with their customers while continuously expanding their market reach through proactive sales and business development efforts. With a growing client base, they are now looking to strengthen their outbound sales function to drive new opportunities and support business growth.

About the Role

We are an Australian-based ecommerce business seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, nurturing leads, and closing deals to drive growth in our cannabis wholesale channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with wholesale clients (new and existing) via phone, email, and Odoo CRM.
  • Qualify leads, present product offerings, and negotiate pricing to close deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in Odoo CRM.
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to align sales efforts with business goals.
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries and convert interest into active customers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs, including revenue and conversion targets.
  • Provide market feedback to refine product offerings and promotional strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience (wholesale or cannabis industry background highly regarded).
  • Superb verbal English proficiency 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Odoo CRM experience is an advantage.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

  • This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
  • To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:
  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
