Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Job Description
As an SDR, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings for our field sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Build and research prospect lists within assigned territories and target accounts
- Execute outreach sequences using established messaging and templates
- Personalize outreach when appropriate while maintaining consistent messaging
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the appropriate field sales representative
- Maintain accurate records and activity within Salesforce and Outreach
- Create and update opportunities following established sales processes
- Communicate meeting details and prospect context to Account Executives through Slack and CRM
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene and ensure accurate reporting
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to continuously improve outreach efforts
- 2+ years of experience in outbound Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales
- Experience with high-volume cold calling
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience booking meetings for Account Executives or outside sales teams
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM
- Comfortable learning and following established sales processes
- Strong organization and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- B2B SaaS sales experience
- Experience selling into education, school districts, public sector, healthcare, food service, or nutrition-related industries
- Experience using Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, or similar sales engagement platforms
- Experience researching accounts and identifying buying personas
