Job Description
  • Role Overview Join our rapidly growing Technology Enablement practice as a trusted advisor to clients, bringing deep functional expertise in Sage Intacct to help our clients get more value from systems they already own. As a Sage Intacct Senior Consultant on our Advisory & PPS team, you will support health checks, optimization initiatives, and enhancement projects for live Sage Intacct environments, and provide post-production support that keeps client finance teams running smoothly. You will work alongside CrossCountry's consulting teams to deliver high-quality outcomes, contributing to a learning-focused practice where your growth is supported and your voice is heard. What You'll Do Execute Advisory Engagements Conduct Sage Intacct health checks and reviews across customer’s configuration, security, workflows, reporting, integrations, and business processes to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve system performance and user adoption. Design and deliver optimization and enhancement projects for live Sage Intacct environments – re-engineering the chart of accounts and dimensions, streamlining month-end close, tightening Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash workflows, and improving reporting and dashboards. Translate client business requirements into Sage Intacct configurations and workflows across core modules – General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Expenses, and Revenue Recognition – applying industry best practices. Develop roadmaps and business cases that help clients prioritize enhancements, plan module expansions, and realize value from their Sage Intacct investment. Deliver Post-Production Support Provide day-to-day functional support to clients running Sage Intacct in production – resolving issues, processing enhancement requests, and tuning system configurations. Troubleshoot functional problems across core Sage Intacct modules and related finance and accounting processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Month-End Close. Identify patterns across support requests and proactively recommend configuration or process changes to reduce recurring issues and elevate longer-term advisory opportunities. Partner with Clients & Project Teams Serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for client stakeholders within your assigned workstream, building strong working relationships and supporting on-time, on-budget delivery. Prepare clear status updates, requirements documentation, and design artifacts; escalate issues or risks to CrossCountry project managers as appropriate. Participate in client workshops, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing strong written and verbal communication throughout. Drive Quality & Continuous Improvement Perform data analysis, import/export formatting, test script development, and documentation to support client deliverables and system integrity. Identify reusable design patterns and contribute to internal templates, accelerators, and knowledge resources that scale across the practice. Maintain thorough documentation of design decisions, configurations, support activities, and project deliverables in line with CrossCountry standards. Embrace AI & Emerging Tools Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards. Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes. What You'll Bring Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing, supporting, or optimizing Sage Intacct (or comparable ERP/financial cloud applications) in a consulting, advisory, or client-services environment. Hands-on configuration experience across core Sage Intacct modules: General Ledger, Cash Management, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Order Entry, Purchasing and some advanced modules such as Consolidations, Dynamic Allocations, Project Accounting, Contracts, Inventory, and Fixed assets. Strong understanding of foundational accounting concepts, including Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Trial Balance, and Intercompany transactions. Demonstrated experience supporting live Sage Intacct environments – health checks, optimization, enhancements, or post-production support – for one or more clients. Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation. Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards. Skills Strong spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear updates for clients and internal teams. Ability to analyze and format data for Sage Intacct imports and exports based on system requirements.
