About this Role
Aura’s Employee Benefits business is a fully channel-driven sales organization. The Regional Vice President (RVP), Employee Benefits Sales is an individual contributor responsible for building, managing, and optimizing a high-performing distribution network within an assigned territory (North: ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL) to drive new business growth.
Responsibilities:

Achieve and exceed on assigned targets for bookings, revenue, market penetration, and other key performance objectives

Identify, recruit, and onboard new distribution partners within the assigned territory, both independently and through the MetLife partnership
-
Collaborate with distribution partners to develop and execute joint business plans aligned with sales goals
-
Educate distribution partners and MetLife teams on Aura products, value propositions, and best practices for selling
-
Continuously evaluate partner performance and implement targeted initiatives to improve productivity and results
-
Deliver presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and actively support partners throughout the sales process
-
Proactively manage partner-related issues, including sales conflicts and pricing matters, in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of channel sales experience, preferably within Employee Benefits, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets

Strong executive presence with the ability to tailor messaging and strategies for brokers, client HR leaders, and CISOs
-
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
-
Ability to travel extensively and on short notice

Self-directed, disciplined professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales and territory business plans
-
Insurance or benefits administration experience is a strong plus
- Identity theft and/or cybersecurity experience is a strong plus, as well.

Pay for this role includes a salary of $150,000 - $175,000 plus commission, but may vary depending upon job related knowledge, skills, experience, location, and meeting sales metrics while in the role.
