Job Description

Symmetrio is recruiting for their client, a multi-national capital equipment manufacturer,  for a Regional Sales Manager to drive capital equipment sales across the Midwest. This is a true hunter role focused on building pipeline, opening new accounts, and closing complex capital sales within hospitals and health systems.

Must live in one of the following territories: TX, LA, AR, OK, MO, KS, IA, NE, CO

The ideal candidate is a high-energy sales professional who thrives on new business development and has experience selling capital equipment into clinical environments. Candidates with backgrounds in imaging, radiation oncology, cardiology, or nuclear medicine are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, and Indiana, Ohio and the Dakotas.
• Identify and pursue capital equipment opportunities within hospitals, health systems, and specialty clinics
• Build and manage a strong pipeline through strategic prospecting and territory development
• Develop relationships with physicians, department leaders, and hospital administrators
• Lead the full capital sales cycle including discovery, presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiation
• Navigate complex healthcare purchasing processes and capital approval committees
• Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting

• 5+ years of healthcare capital equipment sales experience
• Proven success generating new opportunities and closing complex deals ($750K+ preferred)
• Experience selling into hospitals and all health systems
• Background or exposure to radiation oncology, cardiology, or nuclear medicine strongly preferred
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel regularly within the Midwest territory
