Mediix is a small boutique Australian healthcare recruitment agency specialising in the placement of medical and allied health professionals across Australia.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for two Recruitment Consultants to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small, supportive business where your contribution genuinely matters and where you'll work closely with principal recruiter committed to helping you succeed.
We are currently hiring for two recruitment desks:
Allied Health Recruitment
- Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Podiatrists
- Locum and permanent
Medical Recruitment
- Doctors across a range of specialties
- Locum and permanent
This is a full-cycle recruitment role, meaning you will manage the entire recruitment process from business development and client management through to candidate sourcing, interviewing, placement and ongoing relationship management.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and clients across Australia
- Managing the full recruitment process from start to finish
- Conducting candidate interviews and screening calls
- Writing job advertisements and candidate profiles
- Managing vacancies and recruitment campaigns
- Keeping candidate and client records accurate and up to date
- Maintaining spreadsheets, CRM (bullhorn) and other recruitment systems
- Following up with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process
- Contributing ideas and helping us continue to grow and improve

- Enjoy speaking with people and building genuine relationships
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Are confident on the phone with both clients and candidates
- Are organised, thorough and highly detail-oriented
- Take pride in keeping systems, databases and records up to date
- Are proactive and motivated to achieve results
- Enjoy working in a small team environment
Essential Requirements
- Previous recruitment experience working with clients in Australia
- Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Experience recruiting within healthcare is highly desirable, particularly in:
- Allied Health Recruitment, or
- Medical Doctor Recruitment
