Job Description

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques: equivalence classes, boundary value analysis, etc.
  • Clear understanding of bug lifecycle and defect management process
  • Experience in different testing types: functional, integration, regression, smoke, acceptance
  • Skilled in writing test cases, checklists, and test plans
  • Experience with requirement analysis (Confluence, Figma, etc.)
  • Solid experience in manual API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger
  • Understanding of event-driven systems (e.g. Kafka or message queues) and API contract testing
  • Ability to validate data flows between services and verify synchronization consistency
  • Familiarity with:
      - Test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray)
      - Issue trackers (e.g. Jira)
      - Documentation tools (Confluence, Google Docs)
  • Experience analyzing database schemas and writing SQL queries for validation of transactional data
  • Knowledge of permissions, localization, and configuration-driven features testing
  • Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and audit tools (e.g. Kibana, Grafana, ELK)
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Leadership & Ownership:

  • Able to define and own QA scope and test strategy for projects
  • Can estimate testing efforts and manage QA team capacity
  • Accountable for product quality from requirements to release
  • Active participation in grooming, planning, and retrospectives
  • Identifies quality risks and drives process improvements
  • Experience with incident analysis or production bug triage
  • Experience decomposing unclear requirements and clarifying acceptance criteria
  • Skill in prioritizing test coverage by criticality
  • Experience leading distributed QA teams across multiple domains or services
  • Collaboration experience with analysts and technical writers to maintain up-to-date documentation

Optional but Strong Plus:

  • Experience testing gaming or transactional systems (sessions, jackpots, balances, etc.)
  • Understanding of audit trails and transactional integrity validation
  • Experience testing caching, performance, and load scenarios for API-based systems
  • Background in gaming or social casino products

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 1–2 years in a QA lead or senior role
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices
  • Experience managing QA teams and mentoring manual testers
  • Ability to plan and execute test strategies for complex systems
  • Experience working with products built on microservice or distributed architectures
  • Good communication skills; able to work with developers, PMs, designers, and other stakeholders
  • Intermediate or higher level of English (B1+)
