QA Engineer

This role is focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications within a fast-paced e-commerce environment. You will play a key role in designing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual testing frameworks that support scalable digital products. Working closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers, you will help identify issues early and ensure seamless end-user experiences. The position involves hands-on automation using modern QA tools and frameworks such as Cypress and Appium. You will contribute to both API and UI testing across complex systems, including backend integrations and microservices. This is a highly collaborative role where your technical expertise and problem-solving skills directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Accountabilities: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications Create and maintain test plans, test environments, and automated testing frameworks Perform end-to-end validation of application features, enhancements, and system integrations Develop and execute API testing strategies for web, backend, and mobile systems Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional defects using strong debugging skills Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX teams to ensure high-quality software delivery Execute database testing and validate data integrity using SQL-based queries Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency Requirements: 3+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing in a professional environment Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL Hands-on experience with Cypress and page object model (POM) for web automation Experience in API testing using REST services and tools such as Postman or RestAssured Knowledge of mobile automation testing, preferably using Appium Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, MySQL, and IDEs like Eclipse Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Experience in e-commerce environments and exposure to microservices architecture is a plus Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is considered an advantage Benefits: Competitive annual salary with clear range transparency Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage Paid leave including sick leave, casual leave, and local holidays Remote work setup with company-provided equipment and home office stipend Annual professional development budget for learning and upskilling Mental health and wellbeing support programs Performance-based rewards and recognition programs Strong work-life balance with fully remote collaboration
