- A minimum of 4 years of experience in QA engineering, software testing, or test automation roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
- Proven experience in testing FastAPI with Swagger.
- Expertise in TypeScript, including a strong grasp of reusable utilities, abstractions, and sustainable test structures.
- Experience in designing and maintaining test suites for scalable automation frameworks for web applications.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end testing strategies related to complex workflows and multi-system integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and contemporary version control workflows.
- Acquainted with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing with tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a capability to work independently within a distributed team environment.
- Comfortable in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the automation strategy and testing framework for web applications. Create, develop, and sustain a scalable Playwright automation framework to facilitate dependable end-to-end testing. Set and enforce best practices for test design, structure, reporting, and long-term maintenance.
Construct and uphold automated end-to-end tests for complex workflows, which include scenarios involving multiple users and file interactions. Replace manual regression tests with stable, reliable, and maintainable automated test suites.
Work closely with engineering teams and product managers to enhance product quality, testability, and coverage. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation of application functionality.
Maintain high standards of software quality, reliability, and performance by continuously enhancing test automation practices and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in environments focused on AI/ML or GenAI products.
- Familiarity with test reporting and observability tools used in automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and backend validation in distributed systems.
Awareness of modern software development practices, including agile methodologies and continuous testing.
