Job Description
The Content Data Analyst works within Content Operations supporting data management, internal reporting, and quality initiatives to ensure data integrity of data introduced to the GHX master catalog. The CDA works closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies to support operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains database based on defined standards relative to Medical Surgical devices and supplies to ensure data quality for the GHX customer base
- Performs complex ad hoc queries on multiple large data sets to identify data issues and initiate corrective action
- Gathers and interprets data to propose actionable plans and solutions to drive process efficiencies
- Manages the planning and development of design and procedures for metrics reporting
- Contributes to the development of standards, processes, and procedures that support Content Operations goals and objectives
- Collaborate with Clinical Data Specialists to implement processes and report-based applications to increase data management efficiency and quality.
- Produces and maintains process documentation related to relevant work activities
- Works closely with Product Management, Development and other Cross-Functional teams providing timely feedback for requirements supporting Operational needs
- Acts as technical liaison to data platform Technology teams by developing extensive knowledge of the data architecture.
- Coordinates and facilitates professional relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to serve as provider/supplier advocate in relation to medical product data quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems, preferably in a healthcare-related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Management, Healthcare supply chain or related field.
- Advanced SQL proficiency for data querying and analysis
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting various data sets
- Able/willing to travel up to 15% annually
Preferred Qualifications:
- Snowflake experience is a plus
- MS VBA, PowerBI experience is a plus
- Sigma Computing experience is a plus
- Medical product and terminology knowledge preferred
- Requirements gathering and documentation experience preferred
- Supply chain knowledge preferred
- Project management skills preferred
Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $81,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
