- We are seeking an experienced Principal Technical Product Manager to own the product strategy and roadmap for products within AWS Security Assurance. This leader blends product expertise with technical understanding. The ideal candidate is skilled at translating customer needs into product features, collaborating with engineering teams, and leading product strategy. You'll work closely with customers, engineers, and security and assurance experts across the globe to solve complex operational challenges, define our product roadmap, and play a key role transforming how AWS delivers assurance to the world's most security-sensitive customers. We're looking for someone ready to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving field. Key job responsibilities - Define and prioritize features that address key customer pain points - Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences. - Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions - Serve as the Voice of the Customer for the product line throughout its life cycle from initial concept creation to launch, and subsequent support of the product. - Influence senior leadership with compelling product definition docs grounded in customer feedback and data. Basic Qualifications
- - Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 7+ years experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - 7+ years experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - 7+ years experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
