This role sits at the center of complex proposal development activities, supporting high-impact pricing efforts for change orders and contract modifications in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. You will build and refine cost and pricing models that directly influence competitive positioning and contract outcomes. Working closely with operations, finance, and proposal teams, you will translate technical and contractual requirements into accurate, compliant pricing structures. The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. You will also contribute to proposal strategy, risk analysis, and compliance with federal acquisition regulations. This position is ideal for a pricing professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex financial modeling challenges.
  • Accountabilities: Develop, build, and maintain cost and pricing models for medium to high complexity change orders and contract modifications. Analyze RFPs, SOWs, and PWS documents to ensure pricing structures fully align with customer requirements and compliance standards. Collaborate with operations and functional teams to gather inputs and translate them into accurate cost and pricing components. Design and implement pricing strategies that support organizational objectives and competitive positioning. Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and responsiveness of proposal cost volumes. Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards, and internal estimating system requirements. Provide pricing guidance, mentorship, and support to junior analysts and cross-functional proposal teams. Develop cost narratives and documentation aligned with proposal and regulatory guidelines when required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 5 years of experience in proposal pricing, cost estimation, or related financial analysis roles. Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government contracting environments. Advanced Excel skills and strong quantitative and financial modeling capabilities. Experience developing pricing for service contracts, including wage determinations and collective bargaining agreements. Ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines and changing priorities. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex technical and contractual documents. Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with or openness to leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and analysis is highly valued. U.S. citizenship required; ability to travel up to 10–15% preferred.
