This role is focused on leading end-to-end Power BI development initiatives within a data-driven enterprise environment. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing interactive dashboards, reporting models, and KPI frameworks that support strategic business decisions. The position requires strong technical leadership across data modeling, visualization, and analytics engineering, ensuring scalable and secure BI solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to translate complex data into meaningful insights. The environment is highly collaborative and delivery-focused, requiring both hands-on development and coordination of BI initiatives. - Accountabilities: Lead the design, development, and administration of Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards. Build and maintain data models using Analysis Services and ensure optimized performance across reporting solutions. Connect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources to support business intelligence requirements. Develop advanced DAX calculations and implement complex data logic to support analytical needs. Design and enforce row-level security and ensure proper data governance within Power BI environments. Create and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting purposes. Manage report publishing, scheduling, and deployment in alignment with business requirements. Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions. Contribute to documentation, design methodologies, and reporting standards. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in Power BI development, data analytics, or business intelligence engineering. Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, including report development and administration. Advanced proficiency in DAX, data modeling, and complex analytical calculations. Experience building and maintaining Analysis Services data models. Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and performance optimization. Experience working with multiple datasets and managing data relationships across systems. Strong understanding of data security, including row-level security and BI governance models. Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with experience coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams. Ability to lead small teams or BI initiatives in a delivery-focused environment.
