- This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People Operations Generalist based in United States. This is a full-time, remote People Operations role supporting employees throughout the full employment lifecycle. You’ll serve as a trusted first point of contact for HR questions while helping deliver a seamless employee experience. The role focuses primarily on the Americas, with opportunities to contribute to global People Operations programs. You’ll manage onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, benefits, employee data, compliance training, and HR systems. You’ll also support compensation, promotion, engagement, and other company-wide people initiatives. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, data-informed, and focused on continuous process improvement. - Accountabilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries through the HR ticketing system, resolving questions professionally, confidentially, and with a strong focus on employee experience. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes across the organization, particularly for employees in the Americas, including payroll documentation, benefits administration, work authorization, and related coordination. Administer global compliance training programs and ensure employees complete required training on schedule. Maintain accurate employee information and records within the global HRIS, supporting data integrity and efficient People Operations workflows. Manage U.S. leave administration and provide leave-related support for employees in Canada and Brazil. Support benefits administration across the Americas and collaborate with international benefits providers to address employee needs and resolve issues. Support bi-annual compensation and promotion cycles, including coordination, tracking, and administrative activities. Contribute to employee engagement surveys and other global People programs, helping turn employee feedback and data into actionable improvements. Provide backup support for EMEA and APAC onboarding, offboarding, leave, benefits, and employee inquiries when needed. Partner with the broader People Operations and People Business Partner teams to implement, streamline, and continuously improve company-wide people processes. Take ownership of additional People Operations projects and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. At least 2 years of HR Generalist or People Operations experience, preferably within a fast-paced technology environment; startup or public-company experience is a plus. PHR or aPHR certification, or willingness to obtain an applicable certification within 18 months of joining. Experience working with global HR systems and maintaining employee data; hands-on UKG/Ultipro experience is strongly preferred. Practical experience administering U.S. leave programs; familiarity with Canadian and Brazilian leave processes is an advantage. Familiarity with HR ticketing systems, including categorizing, reassigning, tracking, and resolving employee requests, is beneficial. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and exchange constructive feedback respectfully. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a practical, solutions-oriented approach. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to take ownership, move quickly, and deliver high-quality results with professionalism. A growth mindset and willingness to continuously learn, improve processes, and adopt new tools and approaches. Ability to use data and metrics to inform People programs and support sound decision-making. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build productive relationships across functions, geographies, and levels of the organization. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Benefits: Remote-first, full-time work available in approved U.S. locations, including CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, and WA. Base salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 plus bonus, depending on location and experience: $82,000–$100,000 plus bonus in the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles/Orange County, and Seattle. $75,000–$92,000 plus bonus in other California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington locations. $70,000–$86,000 plus bonus in other approved U.S. locations.
