Offshore Ships/Cable Laying Vessel - Equipment Operator

• CSM Indonesia is looking for self-motivated and skilled seafarers to join our expanding offshore fleet of Columbia Shipmanagement. JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATION Operate cable engines, linear cable machines, turntables, tensioners, winches, and associated deck equipment Monitor cable tension, speed, and alignment during laying, burial, and recovery operations Assist with loading, splicing, testing, and maintenance of subsea cables Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of equipment Requires technical skill, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in challenging offshore environments to ensure cable operations are carried out accurately and safely Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position Experience with multicultural working environment. Good communication and skills of English language. Safety culture and mindset. VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Minimum experience requirements of 3 years on Cable Layers / Pipe / MPSV/ DSV vessels at least 1 - 1.5 years’ experience in Carousal operating CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS Contract Duration [9 months +/- 1 months] Contract Benefit: competitive salary Terms and condition as per CBA applicable Free Internet onboard and wellbeing support You may include with your application any reference, specific job qualification, and your availability date.
