  • Accountabilities: Install, configure, provision, and maintain MongoDB clusters in Linux-based enterprise environments. Ensure high availability and system reliability through proactive monitoring, health checks, and self-healing initiatives. Manage and resolve incidents within production support environments while contributing to root cause analysis and long-term problem management. Perform database performance tuning and address latency, scalability, capacity, and availability challenges. Implement and support MongoDB sharding and replication strategies to optimize database performance and resilience. Execute changes and upgrades under established change management processes while minimizing operational risk. Automate routine operational tasks and improve monitoring and alerting systems using scripting and automation tools. Collaborate with internal teams, infrastructure partners, and external vendors to support enterprise database operations. Participate in major database migrations and cross-platform migration initiatives using native MongoDB migration tools. Requirements: 10+ years of experience managing MongoDB databases in enterprise production environments. Strong expertise in MongoDB installation, configuration, provisioning, and cluster administration on Linux 8 or higher. Hands-on experience with MongoDB sharding and replication technologies. Solid troubleshooting skills related to performance optimization, latency reduction, capacity planning, and high availability. Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and automation practices. Experience working within incident management, problem management, and change management frameworks. Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools such as Ansible, GitHub, Splunk, ELK, or Grafana is considered an asset. Knowledge of Python scripting for operational automation is a plus. Experience managing large-scale database migrations and cross-platform migration projects. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams.
