This is an opportunity to lead software quality strategy and a team of Quality Analysts within a fast-paced SaaS environment. The role combines people leadership with hands-on involvement in test strategy, frameworks, tooling, and process improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other quality leaders across distributed teams. Your work will directly influence the reliability and quality of web and mobile applications used by field-service businesses. The position offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to modernize QA practices at scale. This is a fully remote role suited to an experienced quality leader who thrives on continuous improvement and technical problem-solving.
  • Accountabilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Analysts responsible for designing and executing test cases and scenarios to ensure high-quality software releases. Help define and implement an automation-first testing strategy, increasing automation coverage, efficiency, and release confidence. Partner with quality managers, product owners, software developers, and engineering teams to establish effective testing strategies and quality standards. Design test strategies, test tools, frameworks, and cases that support reliable and scalable software delivery. Extend and improve existing test frameworks while developing new tools and approaches to address evolving product and testing needs. Drive continuous improvement across test planning, execution, reporting, and quality processes, ensuring practices are standardized, coordinated, efficient, and integrated. Support the effective triage and resolution of quality issues, balancing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing requirements. Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and maintain strong communication across different time zones. Provide leadership in a remote environment, fostering accountability, technical growth, collaboration, and a strong quality culture. Requirements: 8+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and testing experience, ideally involving web and mobile applications within a software development environment. Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, or developing Quality Analysts and/or Software Engineers in Test. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test strategy, test automation, and quality engineering practices. Experience developing automated tests using tools such as Playwright and Selenium; familiarity with C# and TypeScript is highly desirable. Experience with code deployments, version control systems, and software development workflows. Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment environments and tools such as Bamboo or GitLab. Experience building or extending test automation frameworks and developing testing tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to triage issues, prioritize competing demands, and respond effectively to change. Excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, independence, and judgment regarding when to escalate or seek guidance. Proven ability to work effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones. Previous experience managing remote teams is strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred; equivalent relevant experience in building and leading QA teams may also be considered. Benefits: Competitive base salary ranging from $104,500 to $156,700 for most U.S. locations, or $111,800 to $167,600 in designated higher-cost locations, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Annual bonus and equity opportunities as part of the broader total compensation package. Fully remote work environment with support for autonomous working and flexible time off. Company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, including options with 100% employer-paid coverage and substantial dependent coverage. Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), and 401(k) with employer matching. Telehealth benefits, including access to One Medical. Parental leave and extensive family-building support, including fertility, surrogacy, and adoption assistance. Additional lifestyle benefits such as pet insurance, legal advisory services, financial planning tools, and related resources. Comprehensive onboarding, leadership development, learning opportunities, and career growth programs. Recognition programs, peer-nominated awards, and initiatives designed to support employee engagement and development.
