Job Description
THE ROLE
Pure Storage is looking for a Manager, National Partner Sales to aggressively drive a team of National Partner Managers (NPMs) to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training, support and ultimately pipeline creation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Communicate masterfully with National Partner Managers and partners on new product offerings.
- Manage a team of National Partner Managers and help drive their success.
- Lead the team's pursuit to expand Pure Storage's footprint and selling practices within the National Partner.
- Create Strategies and lead team efforts to maximize sell-through of Pure Storage products within Channel.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.
- Conduct contract negotiations and define and execute partner sales plans.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Demonstrated experience developing National partners or sales teams in previous careers.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- The desire to drive change and evangelize new technologies.
- Passion for post-sales customer success.
- Sales management experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing Reseller and Distributor Channels.
- BA/BA degree in business, marketing or software engineering.
