Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance and reduce logistics costs.
- Oversee compliance with safety, legal, and company policies within logistics operations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a logistics team to meet company objectives.
- Analyze logistics data, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process optimization and technology adoption.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role within logistics or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
