Job Description
The Role
We’re hiring a Logistics Manager to own the movement of product—from factory to warehouse to customer. This role is about precision, foresight, and problem-solving. If missing shipments, surprise fees, or looming stockouts set off alarm bells (in a motivating way), you’ll thrive here.
You’ll serve as the connective tissue between suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and Amazon—ensuring inventory flows smoothly, predictably, and cost-effectively as the business scales.
What You’ll Own
- End-to-end logistics coordination (factory → port → warehouse → Amazon)
- Management of freight forwarders, carriers, and shipping schedules
- Oversight of FBA inbound shipments, including labeling, appointments, and compliance
- Inventory forecasting in partnership with sales data to prevent stockouts or overstock
- Tracking landed costs, duties, and all logistics-related expenses
- Resolution of delays, discrepancies, and Amazon receiving issues
- Maintenance of clean, accurate documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs documents)
- Development and improvement of logistics SOPs to support growth and scale
What “Good” Looks Like
- Inventory is in the right place at the right time
- No fire drills caused by poor planning or lack of visibility
- Amazon fees, penalties, and chargebacks are minimized
- Leadership has clear, reliable insight into inventory levels and shipment timelines
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations (Amazon experience strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience managing FBA inbound shipments
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Experience working with freight forwarders and overseas suppliers
- Highly organized, proactive, and calm under pressure
Nice to Have
- Experience with international shipping (China, LATAM, or Europe)
- Familiarity with inventory forecasting models
- Experience supporting a fast-growing e-commerce business
