Job Description
- This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Solutions Engineer, Salesforce Competitive Expert in United States. This is a senior, high-impact pre-sales and competitive strategy role focused on winning complex CRM evaluations against Salesforce in enterprise and upmarket environments. You will act as a trusted technical and strategic advisor in high-stakes deal cycles, guiding prospects through technical validation, migration planning, and value-based decision-making. The role combines deep Salesforce expertise with HubSpot ecosystem fluency to craft compelling “why change” narratives grounded in technical credibility and business outcomes. You will operate autonomously across strategic opportunities, shaping deal strategy while directly engaging with technical teams, executives, and partners. Beyond individual deal execution, you will build scalable competitive playbooks, enablement assets, and battle-tested frameworks that elevate win rates globally. This is both a hands-on solution engineering role and a system-building function that influences product, marketing, and competitive intelligence. It is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where technical depth and strategic storytelling intersect.
- Accountabilities: Lead Salesforce competitive engagements across strategic enterprise deals, participating in discovery, technical validation, and executive-level discussions to influence CRM selection outcomes. Design and execute solution strategies including migration paths, technical architectures, TCO/ROI models, and proof points to position HubSpot as a strong alternative to Salesforce. Own and continuously evolve the Salesforce competitive playbook, including narratives, talk tracks, demo strategies, and objection-handling frameworks. Partner with account executives, solution engineers, and implementation partners to drive deal execution and improve win rates in Salesforce displacement scenarios. Develop scalable enablement materials such as battlecards, training content, and sales tools to support broader field effectiveness. Serve as a feedback loop to product, marketing, and competitive intelligence teams by analyzing deal outcomes and identifying market patterns. Prioritize and manage a portfolio of strategic opportunities, ensuring focus on high-impact deals and effective bandwidth allocation. Act as a technical and strategic advisor to both internal teams and external stakeholders throughout complex sales cycles. Requirements: Extensive hands-on Salesforce experience (Admin, Sales Cloud configuration, implementation, or architecture) with strong technical credibility. Proven experience working with or deeply understanding HubSpot CRM and translating between Salesforce and HubSpot ecosystems. Strong background in solution engineering, pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles. Ability to independently manage complex deal cycles and build repeatable frameworks or playbooks in ambiguous environments. Deep understanding of CRM systems, SaaS architecture, and enterprise sales cycles, particularly competitive displacement motions. Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical stakeholders and C-level decision-makers. Strategic mindset with experience analyzing competitors, shaping narratives, and influencing high-stakes purchasing decisions. Demonstrated ability to build scalable assets and enablement tools that improve team-wide performance. Strong collaboration skills across sales, product, marketing, and partner ecosystems. Benefits: Annual cash compensation range: $178,920 – $279,120 USD, with eligibility for commission and annual bonus depending on role structure. Potential eligibility for equity (RSUs) depending on role classification. Comprehensive benefits package supporting health, financial security, and well-being. Medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health coverage options. 401(k) retirement savings plan and financial planning support. Paid time off, flexible work arrangements, and global remote-friendly culture. Career growth opportunities in a fast-scaling, product-led SaaS organization. Access to learning resources, enablement programs, and cross-functional exposure in a high-performance environment.
